R21 to Pretoria, exit 134 onto the N1 North (Polokwane), at Kranskop Toll Plaza take the R33 towards Modimolle, continue past Vaalwater. The Main Gate is located approximately 26 km after Vaalwater.

Welgevonden Game Reserve has a private airstrip. Direct flight can be organized.
