Ilanga Lodge, your exclusive sanctuary in the heart of Welgevonden. Nestled amidst breathtaking landscapes the lodge offers guests the privacy and exclusivity of your own private lodge. Available only on an exclusive use basis the lodge features an expansive deck and refreshing swimming pool, overlooking a picturesque dam which quintessentially sets this lodge apart from the rest. Whether you are relaxing on the deck, taking a dip in the pool or exploring the reserve Ilanga promises a truly unforgettable retreat. The lodge consists of 6 en-suite bedrooms located on either side of the main lodge, all of which have views of the dam. Each bedroom unit consists of two bedrooms and whilst not interleading allows families to sleep in the same unit close to each other. The main lodge being the focal point is home to the open plan lounge and dining area which all opens up with sliding doors to the wooden deck. The expansive deck, outdoor chill area and swimming pool with loungers provide guests with a unique escape from the realities of everyday life and an opportunity to savour the African bush together with friends and family. The lodge has a fantastic team of staff that will look after you throughout your stay at the lodge and whether you choose to bring your own food or be catered for we guarantee that Ilanga will be etched in your memory forever.

Rooms
Guests staying at Ilanga Lodge have the choice of six bedrooms which consist 3 units each with 2 bedrooms, all of which are en-suite. Whilst the bedrooms are not interleading they are suitable for families staying with their children and are located within easy access to the main lodge. Should you wish to have your children stay in the same room we can arrange for an extra mattress to be moved into the room. All the rooms have sliding doors opening up to the views of the bush and the dam in front of the lodge.

Unique to our lodges is the flexibility of either choosing to have your meals fully catered (on a full board basis) or the alternative of bringing your own food and our resident chef will do all the preparation and cooking for you. We will discuss and plan suggested meal options for the duration of the stay before your arrival at the lodge which will then be prepared according to your specific preference.

Activities
Included in your stay at the lodge are morning and evening Safari game drives together with your personal accredited and experienced game ranger. Afternoon game drives include sundowners in the bush together with your snacks and favourite drink to watch the African sun bid its farewell for another day.
Private walks in the reserve and The Bushpig Lapa can be arranged with prior request and subject to availability.
